Sikhi Alpha brings new virtual learning resources

Sikhi Alpha brings new virtual learning resources to Houston Elementary Schools in collaboration with @everfi.Sikhi Alpha is launching a comprehensive curriculum designed to help elementary school teachers facilitate lessons around critical financial education and social-emotional learning (SEL) skills. The Equity in Education program suite consists of three programs - Vault: Understanding Money, Healthier Me: Wellness Fundamentals, and The Compassion Project - and is available to Houston elementary students and educators in under-resourced communities at no cost through the nation’s leading social impact education innovator, @EVERFI, Inc.The Vault course aims to educate students in grades 4-6 on important financial concepts, priming them to make informed financial decisions and setting them up for financial success as they develop. For grades 1-4, Healthier Me focuses on wellness fundamentals to help grade school students make healthy, informed decisions when it comes to nutrition and fitness. The Compassion Project is a first-of-its-kind national initiative with a mission of ensuring that every primary school student, grades 2-4, in the U.S. understand what compassion is and how to demonstrate it in their lives.The 'Equity in Education' campaign @sikhialpha provides children from low-income families financial literacy, health education, and Q&A sessions with volunteers.
